“We hope you and your loved ones are weathering the unprecedented storm that has engulfed all of us. The Museum remains closed to public visitation for the time being in the interest of public health. We will keep you updated as to when we will be able to resume public programming and access to our grounds.
To keep us all busy, entertained, and educated during this time, we are creating a new content center on our website to be a one-stop source for all of the videos, photographs, and blog posts we have available – and for the new ones we are in the process of producing. Our web development team is busy putting that together now, and we hope to launch it over the next few days. In the meantime, we encourage you to check out our social media feeds, our YouTube channel, and our blogs”

“Intrepid has served our nation for more than 75 years, playing crucial roles in World War II, the Cold War, Vietnam War and the Space Race. Now as the centerpiece of a world class museum – the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum – it continues to serve with a new mission: to promote the awareness and understanding of history, science and service through its collections, exhibitions and programming, in order to honor our heroes, educate the public, and inspire our youth.”
