Day One – Sunday, September 7, 2025
Today you will travel to beautiful North Conway, New Hampshire where you will enjoy a nostalgic ride aboard the Conway Scenic Railroad’s “Valley Excursion”. You will travel back in time on this heritage excursion and experience the thrill of the Golden Age of American railroad travel on this 55 minute trip. After your train ride, you will arrive and be greeted at the deluxe White Mountain Hotel & Resort. Nestled beneath scenic White Horse Ledge and Cathedral Ledge, this beautiful resort hotel features a professional golf course*, year-round heated outdoor pool and hot tub, Himalayan salt sauna, health club and all the services and amenities that make it a world-class resort. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by the hotel’s friendly staff followed by a Welcome Reception in the Tullamore Tavern. This evening, you will dine off-the-menu and at your leisure in the elegant Ledges Restaurant.
Day Two – Monday, September 8, 2025
You will begin today with breakfast in Ledges Restaurant. You will then depart on a guided tour of southern Mount Washington Valley where you will travel through historic towns to Holderness, NH. Here you will experience the magic of Squam Lake, made famous by the movie “On Golden Pond”, on a guided boat cruise where you will explore the lake’s unique qualities and majestic features, look for majestic Bald Eagles, and listen for the haunting call of Common Loons. After your cruise, you will travel
to Wolfeboro, NH, where you will enjoy an included lunch at Marker 21 Restaurant on Lake Winnipesaukee. After lunch you will tour the fascinating Wright Museum. Here you will travel
through time in America from 1939 to 1945. Memories of yesteryear will come to life – Pearl Harbor, the New York World’s Fair, War Bonds, the Jitter Bug, Antique Cars and much more! After an unforgettable journey at the Wright Museum, you will return to the hotel with time to relax before enjoying another
delicious dinner in Ledges followed by tonight’s entertainment in the Echo Ballroom.
Day Three – Tuesday, September 9, 2025
After breakfast, you will depart the hotel for Moultonboro where you will visit Castle in the Clouds. Originally owned by the eccentric and very wealthy Thomas G. Plant, the Castle sits on 5,200 acres of natural beauty with magnificent views of surrounding mountains and lakes. You will then head home with many memories of your visit to the White Mountains of New Hampshire and your stay with us!
