This year, Wade Tours is celebrating 95 amazing years in business! Can you believe it?
One of our absolute favorite destinations we have been traveling to for over 75 years is New York City. We love the hustle and bustle of the city, the beautiful architecture, the food and the shopping! Have you ever walked into the middle of Time Square, looked up and thought “boy, the buildings are so tall.” Surprisingly enough, New York City is only 302.6 square miles!
New York City is made up of five boroughs—Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, the Bronx, and Staten Island. We visit just about all of these locations every year. The Bronx has the Zoo, Yankee Stadium and The New York Botanical Garden. While Manhattan has tons of Museums, the 9/11 Memorial and amazing shopping. Brooklyn has the famous Brooklyn Bridge and delicious food, Queens has JFK, Laguardia Airport and is home to the Mets, and Staten Island provides phenomenal views of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and Lower Manhattan.
New York City truly is the City that Never Sleeps and we hope to continue visiting for another 95 years!
