Each morning at Avista Resort begins with breakfast included at your leisure. After a relaxing morning at your resort, we board our coach and depart for a lunch cruise on the Barefoot Queen Riverboat, South Carolina’s newest Riverboat attraction with onboard entertainment and narration as you cruise down the intracoastal waterway! After our cruise you will have free time for shopping around Barefoot Landing, a unique and popular shopping experience. Tonight, at Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show, a Christmas adventure unlike anything else to be experienced this holiday season. Pirates Voyage performs a twist on a classic Christmas tale with a bountiful feast that combines a pirate’s “Yo Ho” with the season’s “Ho Ho Ho.” (B, L, D)
Day 4, Wednesday November 15
After breakfast at your leisure, another fun activity is shopping, especially during the holiday season. A popular destination is Tanger Oulets with hundreds of name-brand outlet stores. For savvy shoppers this is a paradise of great deals for that special someone on your Christmas list. After a busy shopping spree, return to your hotel and adorn yourself with something special you may have bought for yourself! Tonight, you will enjoy a memorable dining experience at LuLu’s on the waterfront, widely known as a favorite fine dining restaurant in Myrtle Beach by the locals – menu TBA. Then, sit back and celebrate this evening’s Christmas Show at Broadway Theater’s Hot Jersey Nights Christmas Special – celebrates the music of the popular band, Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons! Day 5, Thursday November 16
A free and leisurely morning at your resort to enjoy breakfast and walks on the beach! This afternoon we will depart for South Carolina’s Hammock Coast and a visit to Brookgreen Gardens, is the floral jewel of South Carolina’s coast and home to the largest and most significant collection of American Figurative Sculpture. You will have an exclusive experience with a guided tour – who will stroll the gardens and describe the history of Brookgreen Gardens and the sculpture of Anna Hyatt Huntington and other sculptors. Your group’s personal tour guide will also inform you about some of the plant life in the South Carolina Lowcountry. After our afternoon at Brookgreen Garden, we will head over to Murrell’s Inlet for a fantastic dinner at Lee’s Inlet Kitchen – family owned since 1948, “We Must Be Doing Something Right!” Named 2023’s Best Seafood Restaurant in South Carolina by Southern Living Magazine. Day 6, Friday November 17
After breakfast, our group will be checking out to begin our journey back north, with a farewell surprise tonight, that includes dinner – after all it is Christmas time and Christmas is filled with wonder and surprises! Tonight, the Country Inn & Suites Woodbridge, VA. will be our host. (B, D)
Day 7, Saturday November 18
Arrive home today with a Christmas wish to make Myrtle Beach an annual tradition…. (B)
