Day 1, Sunday, September 8, 2024

Travel to Richmond, Virginia for an overnight stay at Drury Plaza Hotel (804) 354-1542 – enjoy free hot breakfast, evening snacks and drinks at the 5:30 Kickback®

Day 2, Monday, September 9, 2024  

Arrive late afternoon and check-in to the Beach House Resort, Hilton Head Island (843) 785-5126) for a 4-night stay (Baggage handling included).  Live music and carefree island vibes are in the air at Beach House Hilton Head Island. Sun-soaked coastal energy inspires every element of this boutique resort experience and relaxation is the only thing on your to-do list.  With live music at the legendary Tiki Hut and a long list of resort amenities, you’ll be in full vacation mode in no time.  Toes in the sand and drink in hand, the legendary Tiki Hut is Hilton Head Island’s only destination for live music right on the beach. Enjoy cold beer, cocktails, and the best beach vibes ever – served up by the Island’s favorite bartenders and escape to the tranquil shores for an unforgettable scene, as the sun dips below the horizon!

Day 3, Tuesday, September 10, 2024 – FREE DAY

At your leisure enjoy breakfast at the resort this morning, followed by a free day to enjoy the beach, the pool, the amenities of the resort, and the nearby shops and restaurants located within walking distance. (You are just 3-miles from boat tours in Sea Pines Forest Preserve and 5 miles from Harbour Town Lighthouse.)

Lunch and dinner on own today.  Restaurant options include such unique local favorites as “The Salty Dog”, “The Sandbar”, “Kenny B’s French Quarter Café”, “One Hot Mama’s America Grill”, “Big Bamboo Café”, “Holy Tequila”, and “Frankie Bones”.  Some restaurants may require advanced reservations.  We suggest calling in advance.

Day 4, Wednesday, September 11, 2024

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning.  Meet in the hotel lobby and depart for Savannah, GA.

Arrive and embark on a 90-minute Trolley Tour of Savannah.  Step into Savannah’s fascinating history on a trolley tour of the city’s cobblestone streets and elegant neighborhoods. Hear stories from the old South as you ride with an engaging guide, who points out the landmarks and mansions you pass along the way.

Experience a visit to the Davenport House and Museum, a restored 1820 Federal-style house. Hear the legendary tales of courage and determination as well as the story of those dwelling in the house.

Free time to explore Savannah on your own with a Hop-on / Hop-off Trolley Passes.

Later in the afternoon board our coach and depart for a visit Burnt Church Distillery in Bluffton, SC. Partake in an incredible History & Tasting Tour. Bluffton comes alive through the Discover Burnt Church Distillery experience. Take a trip into the past while experiencing the future of Lowcountry hospitality! You will learn about the storied history of Bluffton and how it progressed through the antebellum age to present day, when Distillery co-founders discovered the mysterious origins behind Burnt Church Road.

Enjoy dinner on own in Historic Bluffton, the Heart of the Lowcountry, a Town that appreciates the past, focuses on today and is planning together for a greater future. Bluffton has recently been featured in the South’s preeminent style publication Garden & Gun! Celebrating the modern South and featuring the best in Southern food, style, travel, music, art, literature, and sporting culture, Garden & Gun is the perfect place to share what makes our little piece of paradise so special.

Day 5, Thursday, September 12, 2024

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning. Meet in the hotel lobby and depart for Beaufort, SC

Arrive, board your cruise and sail away on a Dolphin and History Cruise! Learn interesting facts about local history as it intertwines with the natural history of these waters dating from the prehistoric habitation of the indigenous people to the very first western European settlers.

Following your cruise enjoy free time exploring Beaufort, lunch on own, shopping, and a Carriage Tour of downtown Beaufort, SC. Learn about Beaufort’s history, see Hollywood movie sets, gorgeous gardens, ancient churches, and many Civil War era Antebellum homes.

Next, visit the Kazoo Factory – learn all about how the kazoo was invented and how it has come to be America’s most beloved musical instrument.

Return to the Beach House Resort for a free evening and dinner on your own.   Meals: (B)

Day 6, Friday, September 13, 2024

After breakfast, we bid farewell to what can only be called “Paradise” on Hilton Head and journey home!   Meals: (B)

SEATING PREFERENCE: If yes, please let us know your preference in the boxes on the booking page with the specific seat, seat location and if you would like to sit near someone. Check out our seat assignment policy page for our seating chart. If no preference is made, your seat will be assigned by Wade Tours. Check out the seating chart to the left!!

We encourage you to book early to accommodate any special needs and to assure that members of your party will be seated together. All seats will be sold. If you wish to NOT sit next to a stranger, you must purchase the seat next to you. We reserve the right to assign seats when necessary.

ROOM PREFERENCE: We offer both two queen bed rooms and single king bed rooms. Please let us know your preference and we will do our best to match you to that room.

RESERVATIONS:  To be FAIR and IMPARTIAL seat assignments will be taken at the time of booking your reservation.  Deposit of $100 per person. Final payment is due 60 days prior to departure.

CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations within 60 days from departure will be subject to a $100 fee per person, plus cost for tickets, meals, hotels and other non-recoverable expenses.
