This quaint Victorian seashore town is famous for its architectural riches and maritime heritage. The pedestrian mall in the town’s center is lined with shops offering unique items for giving or keeping. The variety of adventure is seemingly endless … tours by trolley, house tours, boat tours, and of course winery tour to learn the art of wine-maker’s……This is truly a town offering something for everyone!

Optional Package Add-on: cost $130.00 per person – Includes: Day 1: Cape May Whale Watcher for a sunset cruise around the island of Cape May and includes pizza and hot dogs. Day 2: Tour of the Physick Estate, World War II Trolley Tour and visits to Naval Air Station Wildwood’s aviation museum and the Forgotten Warriors Museum, Winery Tour & Tasting with cheese and fruit, a delectable dinner at Hemingway’s (choice of either baked Flounder or Chicken Marsala).

Tour Itinerary

Day 1:

Arrive Victorian Cape May at the Washington Street Mall and enjoy lunch on your own and some free time for shopping. (optional added-cost) – board the Cape May Whale Watcher for a sightseeing sunset cruise around the island of Cape May, with all you can eat Pizza and Hot Dogs and a cold or hot beverage (cold beer and wine are available for purchase).  View the majestic Victorian architecture and enjoy tales of local heroes, legends and history.  There’s also the possibility of whale or dolphin sightings!

Checking in for a 2-night stay at The Oceanfront Grand Hotel of Victorian Cape May is the largest Resort along the Jersey Cape. Day 2:

Enjoy Breakfast at your Resort. (optional added-cost) tour of the Physick Estate, the 1879 Emlen Physick Estate, Cape May’s Victorian showplace, with 15 rooms authentically restore to their original grandeur.

(optional added-cost) – Board the trolley to visit the World War II landmarks, the coastal fortifications at Cape May Point, Cape May Canal and Naval Air Station Wildwood’s aviation museum.  This tour will inform you of the important role that the Cape May region played during World War II.  Your group will also tour the Forgotten Warriors Museum where treasures that mean so much to Vietnam Vets are displayed and hear informative and personal accounts from an actual Vietnam Vet.  (Lunch on your own)

(optional added-cost) – Spend the afternoon at one of Cape May’s award-winning wineries, tour the vineyard to see how grapes are grown, and then visit the winery for an introduction to the wine-maker’s art.  You’ll also enjoy a barrel-tasting with cheese and fruit.

(optional added-cost) -Enjoy an evening at Hemingway’s with a delectable menu!

Day 3:

Enjoy a leisurely Breakfast at your Resort before checking out for our departure for home!  Before leaving this beautiful seaside resort area we want to take you to the Lobster House Dock and learn about the history of the harbor, the fishing industry and life at sea!  After departing Cape May, we will be stopping for shopping and lunch (on own) at Historic Smithville, Wander along cobblestone walkways and over foot bridges to discover a village that seems as if it were frozen in time!

Special Requests & Additional Information

SEATING PREFERENCE: If yes, please let us know your preference in the special requirements section on the booking page with the specific seat, seat location and if you would like to sit near someone. Check out our seat assignment policy page for our seating chart. If no preference is made, your seat will be assigned by Wade Tours. Check out the seating chart to the left!!

We encourage you to book early to accommodate any special needs and to assure that members of your party will be seated together. We reserve the right to assign seats when necessary.

ROOM PREFERENCE: We offer both two queen bed rooms and single king bed rooms. Please let us know your preference and we will do our best to match you to that room.

RESERVATIONS:  To be FAIR and IMPARTIAL seat assignments will be taken at the time of booking your reservation.  Deposit of $100 per person. Final payment is due 60 days prior to departure.

CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations within 60 days from departure will be subject to a $100 fee per person, plus cost for tickets, meals, hotels and other non-recoverable expenses.

TRAVEL INSURANCE: Is available and recommended due to unforeseen circumstances that can arise and if they do, we want you to be protected BEFORE and DURING your tour. Travel Insurance
