POLICY
THE FOLLOWING POLICIES APPLY TO ALL PACKAGES, UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED.
TOURS INCLUDE:
Luxury motor coach, fully equipped transportation. Excellent hotel accommodations, sightseeing, tours, admissions, and most meals as specified in itinerary.
GRATUITIES:
As indicated, all gratuities are included on your tour with the exception of the customary gratuity to the tour guide and driver. In response to many of your requests for advice on what is considered customary, we offer you this information only as a guide:
A large part of the success of a tour is due to our drivers and escorts. We believe that a gratuity is In appreciation of the degree of service, attention to your needs and the personal attitude displayed toward your group. With that said, you can see why a gratuity does not lend itself very well to a standardized amount. However as an average and varying with your experience, you may wish to consider a per-person, per day gratuity of $3-$5 for the escort and driver.
PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP:
Is required for ALL trips outside of the United States. US Citizens are required to carry a passport or an enhanced driver’s license as of June 1, 2009 to enter Canada. A Passport is required on all ocean cruises. All other countries require a valid US Passport. Nothing else is acceptable! If a member in your party is not an American citizen, that person is responsible for carrying the correct documents.
SMOKING:
Federal law prohibits SMOKING or Vaping on motorcoaches. For the convenience of the smokers, we will make frequent stops for rest and relaxation en route to our destination.
ALCOHOL:
Absolutely NO alcoholic beverages are permitted on the bus. Wade Tours reserves the right to search ALL coolers, backpacks, bags, containers, etc. prior to and at ANY time during our tour. Any person found with alcoholic beverages on board is subject to removal from the tour – NO EXCEPTIONS/NO REFUNDS. This policy also includes any passengers that are drunk prior to boarding the coach and are loud, use foul language or in anyway disturb other Wade Tour passengers. You will be removed from the tour – NO EXCEPTIONS/NO REFUNDS.
TRAVEL INSURANCE:
Is available and recommended due to the high cost of penalties passed on to us for cancellations. We know that unforeseen circumstances can arise and if they do, we want you to be protected BEFORE and DURING your tour.
OXYGEN ON A MOTORCOACH:
Oxygen canisters and bottles cannot be stored or placed in the aisle or used in a manner that in any way obstructs or impedes passenger’s freedom of movement inside the coach. Passengers can simply retain and use the oxygen at their seat. If spare bottles are being stored, follow these guide lines. Overhead storage is acceptable if the bottles are stowed so they cannot roll, collide or fall. Baggage area Storage (under the coach) is acceptable when blocking & bracing of the bottles is possible. (this may mean placing other objects around the bottles making them generally inaccessible during a trip. Large cylinders should not be transported if any other means of supply is possible.
Motor Coaches do not have racks or blocking and bracing capabilities, nor do they have lifts and hoists to move heavy objects. Such Oxygen cylinders can be hazardous unless handled and transported correctly, so carriage of these cylinders is strongly discouraged.
Enroute resupplies or refills are nearly always a possibility. The passenger should make arrangements for these needs through networks or local supplies. Single bottles meet the definition of personal use and would seem reasonable. The risks of transporting large quantities or large containers of oxygen are serious.
