Day 1 – Friday, June 16, 2023–Bangor, Maine

Today begins the first day of your journey!  Overnight Best Western White House Inn

Day 2 – Saturday, June 17, 2023–Arrive Moncton–Atlantic Time Zon add one hour

Today we cross over the border into Canada (Passport or enhanced license) and meet your Atlantic Tour’ Tour Director upon check in at your Moncton Hotel and become acquainted over a buffet dinner.

Day 3 – Sunday, June 18, 2023–Moncton to Argentia

Today is a travel day as you follow the Trans-Canada Highway to the Canso Causeway where you will enter Cape Breton Island and board the overnight ferry to Newfoundland in North Sydney.  Enjoy dinner on your own on the boat.

Day 4 – Monday, June 19, 2023–Argentia to St. John’s

After enjoying breakfast on your own on the ferry, arrive in Argentia and continue on to the intriguing old seaport of St. John’s, your home for the night.  North America’s oldest city and Newfoundland’s capital boosts a stunning location in the granite cliffs and slopes of the Avalon Peninsula, and you will enjoy a city tour featuring the Victorian architecture of the downtown area, the busy modern waterfront, the panoramic view from Signal Hill, and nearby Cape Spear, the most easterly point in North America. Day 5 – Tuesday, June 20, 2023–St. John’s to Clarenville

Your day starts with a Boat Tour on the Witless Bay Ecological Reserve to search for puffins.  From here continue on to Clarenville with a stop in Brigus to see the former home of world-famous explorer Captain John Bartlett at Hawthrone Cottage before you reach your destination for an overnight stay.  Overnight Clarenville Inn

Day 6 – Wednesday, June 21, 2023–Clarenville to Gander

Today you will explore two quaint historic towns.  First is Bonavista where John Cabot first arrived in North America in 1497.  Learn about the hard life of the lightkeepers at Cape Bonavista Lighthouse Provincial Historic Site before continuing onto charming Trinity. Stroll the lanes and explore many historic buildings preserved from the 18th century.  Be on the lookout for moose as you travel through Terra Nova National Park.  Arrive in Gander for an overnight stay. Day 7 – Thursday, June 22, 2023 – Gander to Cow Head

Start your day with a visit to the North Atlantic Aviation Museum and a tour of the town in which you will learn about the 38 planes that were ordered to land here unexpectedly after the September 11, 2001 attacks. Continue to the Gros More National Park area where you will overnight in Cow Head.  Enjoy a delicious lobster dinner this evening at your hotel (meat alternative available). Day 8 – Friday, June 23, 2023–Gros Morne to North Sydney

Discover why Gros Morne National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is truly one of the highlights of your trip with a scenic boat tour on Bonne Bay; be on the look-out for the bald eagles that frequent the deep waters of the fjord.   Also see the Tablelands; this mountain of flat-topped rock of a kind usually found only deep in the earth’s mantle is an awe-inspiring sight. Today will be an unforgettable experience; some say the scenery that Gros Morne offers is unequaled in Eastern Canada. Overnight Marine Atlantic Ferry (cabin accommodation).

A deposit of $100 USD per person at the time of reservation and final payment due 65 days prior to the tour date (April 10, 2023).  After this time, late reservations cannot be guaranteed.

SEATING PREFERENCE: If yes, please let us know your preference in the boxes on the booking page with the specific seat, seat location and if you would like to sit near someone. Check out our seat assignment policy page for our seating chart. If no preference is made, your seat will be assigned by Wade Tours. Check out the seating chart to the left!!

We encourage you to book early to accommodate any special needs and to assure that members of your party will be seated together. We reserve the right to assign seats when necessary.

ROOM PREFERENCE: We offer both two queen bed rooms and single king bed rooms. Please let us know your preference and we will do our best to match you to that room.

RESERVATIONS:  To be FAIR and IMPARTIAL seat assignments will be taken at the time of booking your reservation.  Deposit of $100 per person. Final payment is due 60 days prior to departure.

CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations within 60 days from departure will be subject to a $100 fee per person, plus cost for tickets, meals, hotels and other non-recoverable expenses.

TRAVEL INSURANCE: Is available and recommended due to unforeseen circumstances that can arise and if they do, we want you to be protected BEFORE and DURING your tour. Travel Insurance
