Day 1: Travel to Woodbridge, Virginia for an overnight stay at Country Inn & Suites.
Day 2: Arrive Myrtle Beach for a 4-night stay at Beach Cove Resort (843) 918-9000, featuring all oceanfront suites so you can enjoy fabulous views of the Atlantic Ocean. Take in the scenic views of waves splashing ashore on your private oceanfront balcony. Tonight, you’ll enjoy a delicious Huge Seafood Buffet at Original Benjamin’s. After dinner, you’ll return to your lovely resort on the ocean and enjoy a walk along the beach! (B,D)
Day 3: Each morning at Beach Cove Resort begins with breakfast included at your leisure. This morning, discover local wildlife on The Explorer Eco Tour in Murrells Inlet and its beautiful saltwater marsh estuary. Enjoy the sight and sounds as we tour the tranquil waters, bird watching and observing the underwater sea life with a naturalist. Followed by lunch included at Bubba’s Fish Shack. Return to your resort for a leisurely afternoon.
Tonight, you’re in for an incredible adventure at Pirates Voyage Dinner Show and take a Fun Pirate Voyage in Myrtle Beach! Experience the swashbuckling excitement of this attraction and take sides between the two pirate crews as they battle on land, on deck, in water, and high above the full-sized pirate ships in a 15-foot-deep indoor hideaway lagoon. The action might just take your breath away as you see a sea lion group, tropical birds, beautiful mermaids, and much more. Once you are taken to your assigned row for seating, you will be served a delicious 4-course dinner and watch the captivating show unfold. (B,L,D)
Day 4: After breakfast at your leisure, another fun day in paradise soaking up the warm sun with walks along the beautiful white sandy beach! This afternoon, all aboard the Barefoot Queen Riverboat for an exciting cruise down the Intracoastal Waterway! Sit back, relax, and enjoy lunch on this scenic cruise. After our cruise, a perfect way to unwind? Uncork the sweeter side of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina at Duplin Winery, makers of America’s favorite Muscadine wine. Kick back with a glass of something cool and sweet with flavorful tasting. Tonight, you will enjoy a memorable dining experience at Chestnut Hill, later this evening will be one to remember at Greg Rowle’s Legacy Theatre, entertainment unlike anything you’ve seen before! Day 5: Wake to another beautiful day on the beach watching the sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean from your oceanfront balcony! Today is your free day to just relax oceanside or poolside OR you can choose to explore Historic Georgetown where picturesque and southern charm awaits with an easy stroll of the Harborwalk and discover delightful shops and many wonderful restaurants along Front Street, serving mouthwatering cuisine. Take a 1-hour tour on a tram around the historic district (fee). Tonight, our final night on the Grand Strand, will take you to Chuck’s Steakhouse for a fabulous meal and then we’re off to the Alabama Theatre for the brand-new variety show… ICONIC! Featuring new and fantastic choreography, an updated song selection, and more comedy, thrills, and entertainment. (B,D)
Day 6: After breakfast our group will be checking out to begin our journey back north! Tonight, we arrive in Richmond, Virginia for an overnight stay at Drury Plaza Hotel – a perfect overnight stop awaits at the 5:30 kickback and a hot breakfast in the morning. (B)
Day 7: Arrive home today sharing memories along the way of our annual Myrtle Beach spectacular…. (B)
