This evening you will enjoy Christmas Dinner at Buckley’s Tavern, with American comfort food served in a colonial dining room of an 1800s home that is in the heart of historic Centreville, Delaware.

Day 2, Friday, December 15

This morning we depart for the world-famous Nemours Estate, beautifully decorated for the holidays with antiques from its collection, elegant trees, garlands, and sprays, hand-painted ornaments, a manger scene, and original toys from the du Pont estate. Yuletide at Nemours Mansion will delight you with the grand traditions of the past and visions of holidays of old.
Depart for our next visit at the Hagley Museum, to include lunch. Located on 235 acres along the banks of the Brandywine in Wilmington, Delaware, Hagley is the site of the gunpowder works founded by E.I. du Pont in 1802. This example of early American industry includes restored mills, a workers’ community, and the ancestral home and gardens of the du Pont family.

This evening an enjoyable experience at The Candlelight Theatre, a unique dinner theater in a red barn! I’m sure you will enjoy It’s a Wonderful Life, a gourmet buffet and a show stopping performance. (B,L,D)
