Today we journey south through Pennsylvania into Virginia for the perfect overnight getaway, situated in the Shenandoah Valley!
After breakfast, we’ll check out and head to the mountains of Ashville, NC – upon arrival, celebrate the holiday season with a visit to Biltmore and experience the estate at its most enchanting: beautifully bedecked for Christmas.
Next, check into your hotel, and enjoy a welcome refreshment.
Tonight, experience an exciting Asheville escape at the Historic Omni Grove Park Hotel for a Festive Holiday Dinner with a tradition of southern hospitality amidst the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. After dinner, walk through the National Gingerbread House Competition, over 150 masterpieces. (B,D)
Today, following breakfast, depart Asheville feeling refreshed and full of Christmas cheer as you head over the Smoky Mountains into Tennessee.
Christmas in Nashville comes alive in exhilarating fashion at the Gaylord Opryland & Convention Center. With classic holiday activities like photos with Santa, engaging shows like The Oak Ridge Boys Christmas In Tennessee Dinner Show and thrilling experiences like ICE!

Tonight, we will enjoy a delicious dinner at the Loveless Cafe, then travel over to Cheekwood Estate & Gardens to Savor the sights and sounds of the season on a guided tour of the Cheek Mansion.
Christmas with the Cheeks offers a glimpse into what Christmas might have looked like in the 1930s. Seven of the historic restored rooms are decorated with garlands, evergreens, and seasonal embellishments influenced by popular designs of the decade.
Tonight, return to Gaylord Opryland Resort to see more than three million twinkling lights and festive décor to celebrate the season, stroll through the breathtaking holiday decorations before heading to your room for a restful night’s sleep! (B,D)
Enjoy a leisurely Breakfast at your Resort before we depart for a Guided City Tour around Nashville and share with you the best of “Music City” – Learn about the famous people of Nashville and interesting facts about Nashville’s history.
Enjoy some free time on historic 2nd Avenue (downtown) for shopping, etc. with lunch on own.
After your time downtown, board our coach and depart for Holidays at The Hermitage, home of President Andrew Jackson. The holidays are a special time at the home of the 7th President. Enjoy your visit to the Hermitage with a special holiday spirit! Throughout the season, costumed staff will share additional stories of holiday traditions and celebrations while showcasing the added Christmas greenery and gifts spread throughout the Mansion.
