Tonight, we check in to Hotel Indigo Mount Pleasant, SC for a 2-night stay.

Day Three, Tuesday, March 14, 2023
Enjoy Breakfast at the Hotel, before we make a visit to Boone Hall Plantation and enjoy a tour of the house and a Gullah Story. Explore the grounds on a Plantation Tractor Tour. Take a 30–40-minute motorized tour around the entire 738 acres that make up the plantation. You will see and learn about the history of Boone Hall and experience how it remains a working farm today. This is a visitor favorite.
Enjoy lunch on own and free time at City Market, Charleston, SC. Home to more than 300 vibrant entrepreneurs. Sweet grass basket weavers, along with local artists, jewelry, tapestry, souvenirs, church dolls, afghans, rugs, rice, beans and sauces, local candies and cookies and much more!
After lunch, take a Horse Drawn Carriage Ride through historic Charleston, South Carolina. Rich in over 300 years of history, Charleston is one of the most beautifully preserved historic and architectural treasures in the nation. Significant and lovely structures, beautiful gardens, and centuries-old homes grace the narrow streets. Church bells toll the hour as history unfolds around each and every corner.
Visit the Edmondston-Alston House, a historic Federal-style home – Enjoy a Docent led Tour of the House and wine on the second-floor piazza porch with unmatched view of the Charleston Harbor.

Day Four, Wednesday, March 15, 2023
Prior to checking out, enjoy Breakfast at the Hotel and depart for Beaufort, SC.
Visit Lady’s Island Oyster for an Oyster Experience! Learn about how important oysters are to the Eco-system, different farming techniques, and enjoy a Tasting.
Enjoy lunch on own with free time to shop the unique boutiques, artisan shops and restaurants in downtown Beaufort. Beaufort has a walkable downtown with no chain retail shops or restaurants.
Take a Southern Rose Horse Drawn Carriage Ride and learn about Beaufort’s history, see Hollywood movie sets, see gorgeous gardens, ancient churches and many Civil War era Antebellum homes.

Day Five, Thursday, March 16, 2023
Enjoy Breakfast at your Hotel, then we set sail on your River Dolphin Cruise. While we look for dolphins, your guide will also point out the other wildlife that lives in this river!
After our cruise depart to meet our Trolley and GUIDE, at Gullah Geechee Visitors Center, Saint Helena Island, SC. who will begin the story of the Gullah Geechee Culture. “The Circle Unbroken” the story of the Gullah Culture”.
Return to the Gullah Geechee Visitors Center and enjoy a Low Country Shrimp Boil AKA Frogmore Stew, where we will “Hear the Rest of Story” from a local storyteller and historical interpreter.
After lunch, continue catching the spirit of island life and its unique history and heritage.
Tonight, dinner is included at Q on Bay, a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, to enjoy each other’s company, good food, delicious local wines and microbrews and the beautiful Lowcountry days.

Day Six, Friday, March 17, 2023 – Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Today, we’ll depart for Savannah and unload 4 very walkable blocks away from our VIP Party and seating at the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The first St. Patrick’s Day Parade was held in 1813 and the City of Savannah has hosted Saint Patrick’s Day celebrations since 1824. It boasts a celebration rivaling that of New York City in size and fervor. Unlike any other cities, Savannah’s historic parade is always held on March 17, not on the neighboring weekend. There was a significant Irish population when Savannah was founded and the community has held onto and continued to celebrate their heritage.
Our VIP Party includes Food and Drinks. The seating is located very close to the indoor VIP building where food and beverage is served and offers air conditioning as well as clean restrooms.
After a full day in Savannah celebrating St. Patrick’s Day, we return to Beaufort for an evening at your leisure and dinner on your own. (B,L)
Day Seven, Saturday. March 18, 2023
Enjoy Breakfast Included at the Hotel this morning, then depart to meet our GUIDE and Trolley for a 90-minute Historical Tour of Savannah.
Tour the Andrew Low House – Now, a historic gem, the home along with its furnishings and its garden, is a must-see destination on any trip to Savannah.
Next, arrive at the Pin Point Heritage Museum, located in the old A.S. Varn & Son Oyster and Crab Factory, is your chance to experience the Gullah/Geechee culture first hand. For nearly 100 years, the community of Pin Point was quietly isolated on the banks of the Moon River just south of Savannah. Now, you can explore the refurbished museum complex and experience multimedia presentations, exciting exhibits and unparalleled views of the marsh!

Depart for a visit at Wormsloe Historic Plantation for a 45-minute tour – Upon arrival proceed through the archway and down the 1.5 mile, Live Oak-lined avenue. Wormsloe’s chief historic significance is as the first plantation established by the British in their new colony of Georgia. Its name – originally spelled Wormslow – is believed to have been derived from one of several places by that name in Britain.
A breathtaking avenue sheltered by live oaks and Spanish moss leads to the tabby ruins of Wormsloe, the colonial estate of Noble Jones (1702–1775). Jones was a humble carpenter who arrived in Georgia in 1733 with James Oglethorpe and the first group of settlers from England.
Return to Historic Savannah to enjoy Free Time to shop and dine on own along the Riverwalk.
