12:30 pm Arrive Boston for lunch and shopping on your own at the Prudential Center
2:00 pm Embark upon your BOSTON HIGHLIGHTS TOUR.
4:00 pm Arrive at QUINCY MARKET for time on your own and dinner at your leisure
Arrive at the ESPLANADE for the BOSTON POPS 3RD OF JULY REHEARSAL CONCERT. You will receive a wrist band which gives you entrance to the HATCH SHELL stage. The concert is located in the OVAL, which is a space of lawn, in front stage.
You will get there before the ESPLANADE OPENS and once it does you can bring your chairs in and set up your space! There will be a line and security to get through to attend this concert. The lines start to die down currently. There is still plenty of available seating space in order to see the concert.
GUESTS MUST BRING THEIR OWN FOLDING CHAIRS FOR THIS CONCERT and CARRY THEM IN AND OUT FOR THE CONCERT.
BOSTON POPS 4TH OF JULY REHEARSAL CONCERT begins!!! This is the BEST way to actually see the Boston Pops. There are only about 30,000 people in attendance on this night versus upwards of 750,000 on the night of the 4th. The concert is over at around 10:00 pm.

FULL BREAKFAST at your leisure at the hotel. Meet your LOCAL GUIDE for a morning of touring of
BOSTON, CAMBRIDGE and a DRIVE BY of HARVARD UNIVERSITY. Guide will get you off the coach to see Harvard Yard if parking allows.
Arrive at the COMMONWEALTH PIER at WORLD TRADE CENTER to board the SPIRIT OF BOSTON HARBOR CRUISE SHIP. On this 2 ½ hour tour you will enjoy a view of Boston from the harbor, while enjoying a bountiful BUFFET LUNCH. There is also music by a DJ included. Experience a 21 GUN SALUTE, by USS CONSTITUTION CANNONS, when she reaches FORT INDEPENDENCE on CASTLE ISLAND!
Following cruise, we depart for the JFK LIBRARY AND MUSEUM. The museum at the Kennedy Library captures the powerful story of the Kennedy years, giving visitors of all ages an uplifting, “first – hand” experience of president Kennedy’s life, leadership and legacy
DINNER at the HYATT REGENCY CAMBRIDGE on the banks of the Charles River before the fireworks.
After dinner you can set up your chair on the banks of the CHARLES RIVER and people watch while enjoying the warm evening breezes and if you’d like you can situate yourself so that you can hear (not see) the Boston Pops performance again!
10:30 pm FIREWORKS SPECTACULAR!
11:00 pm Fireworks are over, return to your hotel.
Sunday July 5, 2020 – Boston Guide Today
FULL BREAKFAST at your leisure at the hotel.
9:00 am Meet your LOCAL GUIDE and then travel to the Navy Yard.
Visit the CHARLESTOWN NAVY YARD run by the National Parks Service where you will see the USS CONSTITUTION OLD IRONSIDES. “Located in the Charlestown Navy Yard, the USS Constitution was launched in Boston on October 21st, 1797 and is the oldest commissioned warship afloat in the world. Today, she is manned by an active duty U.S. Navy Crew.
You will have time to visit the CONSTITUTION VISITOR’S CENTER with memorabilia and gifts and the USS CONSTITUTION MUSEUM, a private, non-profit museum which includes a theatre, over 3,000 historical artifacts, interactive exhibits and a gift shop. Self-guided tours are available of the USS CASSIN YOUNG a World War II Navy destroyer.
