Arrive late afternoon in D.C. and check-in to Courtyard by Marriott Arlington Crystal City.
Then take a GUIDED Colonial Tour of historic Alexandria, with our 18th century costumed guides as they lead you by lantern light telling you stories, legends, and folklore about colonial Alexandria.
Enjoy dinner included at Fish Market Restaurant in Historic Old Town Alexandria, a modern eatery in a renovated warehouse that’s over 200 years old, with its own unique atmosphere and décor.

Day Two, Friday, May 3, 2024
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Meet your guide in the lobby and depart on a tour of Washington DC
Visit the White House Visitor’s Center – Security screening is required for entry. You can watch a 14-minute film that takes you inside the White House, and a gift shop to find the perfect souvenir!
Stop for a photo opportunity outside the White House.
Stop at The National World War I Memorial. The National World War I Memorial is a national memorial commemorating the service rendered by members of the United States Armed Forces in World War I.
Lunch on own at the Reagan Building/International Trade Center Food Court, is DC’s favorite food court, located in the heart of Washington, DC. All Adults must present a Photo ID upon entering.
After Lunch we will continue our tour along Embassy Row. After the Civil War, the powerful and socially elite built large mansions along Massachusetts Ave. After the Great Depression, many of the families who built these homes went broke. Embassies have claimed and restored these lovely homes.
Drive by the Washington National Cathedral – it is the sixth largest church in the world.
Next, we will take a docent-led tour of the Hillwood Estate, Museum and Gardens. The mansion is the former home of cereal heiress Marjorie Merriweather Post located in the heart of Washington, D.C.
Depart with your guide to tour President Lincoln’s Cottage – Located on a picturesque hilltop in Washington, DC, President Lincoln’s Cottage is the most significant historic site directly associated with Lincoln’s presidency aside from the White House. Only the first floor is handicap accessible. Lunch Voucher in Penn Quarter.
Dinner at Tony & Joe’s Seafood Place at Washington Harbour, an upscale restaurant on the waterfront.
After dinner, continue with the Monument Driving Tour. Washington’s grand buildings, memorials, and monuments sparkle and are impressive during the day – stunning at night!
Stops at the Kennedy Center, the National World War II Memorial, and the Eisenhower Memorial.
Return to your hotel and say Goodnight to your Guide! Meals: B, D
Day Three, Saturday, May 4, 2024
Enjoy breakfast included at your hotel then depart with our local guide to Tour the Embassies at your guide’s discretion and explore The Washington National Cathedral’s Flower Mart, which holds an irresistible array of festival foods, artisanal and boutique gifts and, of course, herbs and flowers!
Return to your hotel and refresh to enjoy dinner at Filomena Ristorante – located in the heart of Georgetown in Washington, D.C., opened on May 23, 1983. Since that time, people have packed Filomena to catch a glimpse of an all but forgotten time when the dinner table was not only the center of family life, but also the source of entertainment, wonderful memories, and great satisfaction for all.

Enjoy breakfast prior to checking out.
Visit the United States Botanic Garden – 200 years ago, George Washington had a vision for the capital city of the United States to include a botanic garden, it is the oldest public garden in the United States.
