A TENNESSEE CHRISTMAS: NOVEMBER 27- DECEMBER 5, 2023

Day one – Monday, November 27

We have surprises, all along the way to Tennessee that you won’t hardly believe, how’d they do that!

The Warther Museum in Dover, Ohio is home to the World’s Master Carver. On our guided tour you will embark on a journey through the inspiring life and what the Smithsonian has valued as “priceless masterpieces.” After our tour you will enjoy a delicious dinner among these beautiful carvings.  (D)

Day two – Tuesday, November 28

After breakfast, we head to beautiful Kentucky, to explore at your leisure the ARK Encounter with lunch included. A large representation of Noah’s Ark, based on the Genesis flood narrative contained in the Bible. It is 510 feet long, 85 feet wide, and 51 feet high. It is a truly amazing sight to see!   (B, L)

Day three – Wednesday, November 29

This morning after breakfast we depart for Toyota Kentucky Experience Center – the largest Toyota manufacturing facility in the world, for a narrated tram tour.

Let’s head to Tennessee, where Christmas will fill you with Music, Memories and More…..

Welcome to Christmas in Clarksville Tennessee, the already quaint historic city transforms into Hallmark-worthy scenes during the holidays.

Our first stop after a 4-hour drive will be at Beachaven Winery for a tour and tasting.  You will be greeted with a glass of hot mulled wine to enjoy and taste four samples in a flight of wine!  Oh, boy!

Check into the LaQuinta for a 2-night stay, enjoy a brief rest then back on the coach for dinner.

Let the Christmas cheer continue tonight with a night full of lights, food and great music.  We will enjoy a traditional holiday meal before being entertained by the songs and sounds of Passenger Creek.  This group of talented bluegrass musicians will deliver an excited evening of traditional bluegrass tunes, as well as your holiday favorites.  Who knows, we may even have a jolly guest join us!

On our way back to our hotel, we will take a drive thru of the Holiday Dancing Light Show!    (B, D)

Day four – Thursday, November 30

After breakfast at our hotel, we will drive an hour south to the tiny town of Bon Aqua, Tennessee, home of Johnny Cash’s Storyteller Hideaway Farm.  Owned by Johnny Cash for more than 30 years, he commonly referred to the farm as the “center of my universe.”  From the holiday decorations to the farmhouse and the legendary “One Piece at a Time Car,” Johnny Cash Fans will be delighted by this stop.

In 1976, Johnny Cash filmed half of his annual televised Christmas special at the farm.  Today, we will go to the Storyteller Museum for a Christmas show featuring scenes from that television special and live music from Johnny’s nephew, Mark Alan Cash.  It will be a wonderful morning of nostalgia and music for Country Music Fans celebrating a traditional Christmas. A boxed lunch will be included.

Next, we will head to Miss Lucille’s Marketplace for a unique shopping experience.  They have a variety of merchandise ranging from vintage finds, handmade goods, rare antiques, and gift items. With over 200 vendors, you might need a break or a bite, so stop by the in-store cafe for some coffee or dessert.

Depart for hotel for a brief rest before dinner tonight at a local favorite, prior to our headliner entertainment, The Frontmen of Country Music. They have a chemistry and brotherhood seldom matched, and they have logged the travel miles to prove it, wowing audiences around the globe with their brand of highly successful intimate unplugged shows.

Powerhouse hits performed by the Frontmen of Country include Restless Heart classics, “The Bluest Eyes in Texas,” “That Rock Won’t Roll,” “I’ll Still Be Loving You” and “Why Does It Have to Be (Wrong or Right). Lonestar smashes such as “Amazed,” “Smile,” and “I’m Already There,” plus Little Texas hits including “God Blessed Texas,” “Amy’s Back in Austin,” and “What Might Have Been.” These songs and many others included in their shows are the soundtrack of a generation.  For tonight’s performance, they will include a host of their classic Christmas tunes!

You will wish the night never ends, after hearing the Country Music Legends, The Frontmen in concert. Return to the comfort of your hotel for a night of sweet dreams.     (B, L, D)

Day five – Friday, December 1

Today, following breakfast, depart Clarksville feeling refreshed and full of Christmas cheer!

Christmas in Nashville comes alive in true holiday spirit at the Gaylord Opryland with favorites like their Country Christmas Dinner and Show, a lunch cruise and show on the General Jackson Showboat and the thrilling experience of ICE! Take a ride on the Delta River flatboat inside the Gaylord Opryland.

Today enjoy a splendid day cruising on the General Jackson Showboat as we celebrate the most wonderful time of the year on the Tennessee Christmas cruise!

Day six – Saturday, December 2

Enjoy breakfast included at your leisure, then take in the many activities your Resort has to offer. We are going to offer a morning tour as an optional add-on to your Nashville experience for anyone who would like to go to Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum (additional fee).

Today take in the marvels of ICE! A thrilling chilling experience! You gotta see it to believe it!

Get ready to celebrate A Country Christmas Dinner Show at Gaylord Opryland Resort with a Patriotic American country music singer and songwriter, Darryl Worley. You might know his #1 song Have You Forgotten?  You can find more on his website at https://www.darrylworley.com/

After the show, as you make your way through the resort, take in the sights of the cascading waterfalls and twinkling lights, we end our evening with a festive evening of entertainment.  (B, D)

Day seven – Sunday, December 3

After Breakfast, we bid farewell to Nashville, Tennessee and travel on to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee for a holiday adventure that will delight and fill you with Christmas Joy in the beautiful smoky mountains!

Christmas at the Titanic is magical during the winter holidays. The sights, sounds and joy of the season are sure to hail the arrival of Christmas 2023. Come exchange greetings with our Titanic crew or enjoy the glittering lights and the festive decorations. Titanic Museum opens the door to the past in it’s one-of-a-kind way letting “passengers” experience what it was like to walk the hallways, parlors, cabins and Grand Staircase of the Titanic while surrounded by more than 400 artifacts directly from the ship and its passengers. Each guest entering the ship will receive a boarding pass of an actual Titanic passenger or crew member.
