Tour Itinerary

Day one

Board your deluxe motor coach and begin your journey – Arrive in Columbus, Ohio at the Drury Inn.

Day two

Wake to a nice breakfast before traveling down the road to tour the most authentic replica of Noah’s ark in the world where millions are coming from every corner of the globe to see the biblical account of the ark come to life at ARK Encounter, in Williamstown, Kentucky.  Prepare to be amazed and enjoy a delightful lunch!

Just a short ride to Lexington Kentucky to visit the Mary Todd Lincoln House, was the girlhood home of Mary Todd, the future first lady and wife of the 16th President, Abraham Lincoln.  Discover one of America’s most fascinating first lady during your visit and a sweet treat we have included at the end.

Next, we arrive in Frankfort Kentucky State Capitol.  You’ll enjoy a 3-night stay with small town charm and true Southern Hospitality at Capital Plaza Hotel.  After check-in, enjoy dinner at a local favorite. B,L,D

Day three

After breakfast depart for Lexington Kentucky, The horse capital of the world.  Tour the Kentucky Horse Park, the only park of its kind in the world, a working horse farm, educational theme park and equine competition facility dedicated to man’s relationship with the horse.

Next, travel to Berea Kentucky, nestled in the foothills of the Appalachians, is the state’s crafts capital.  Have a traditional Kentucky lunch at Historic Boone Tavern. Following lunch, you will have a hands-on experience with an artist.  Then we will go to the Kentucky Artisan Center to browse through the works of over 800 artists, before we had back to Frankfort.

This evenings event is at the Glen-Willis House: a stunning venue nestled on the banks of the Kentucky River. Built in 1815, this beautiful and historic charming brick house is a picture-perfect setting for tonight’s Dinner and Bluegrass Entertainment.                                                 B,L,D

Day four

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before departing for picturesque Georgetown Kentucky, surrounded by Victorian-era buildings.  Nearby we will take a tour of the unique Old Friends Thoroughbred Retirement Farm, dedicated to providing a safe haven and permanent retirement to thoroughbreds whose racing and breeding careers have come to an end.  Home to over 100 horses, get up close and personal with stars of the turf!

Speaking of horsepower, take a guided motorized tram tour of the world’s largest vehicle manufacturing plant at Toyota Motor Manufacturing and see the remarkable process from beginning to end.

Enjoy a boxed lunch on our way to the Bluegrass Scenic Railroad for a train ride for a different view of central Kentucky Horse country!

Return to your hotel for time to relax and refresh for tonight’s farewell Dinner…. B,L,D

Day five

After breakfast, we pack up and show you “racing the way it was meant to be seen” at Keeneland Racetrack, since 1936.

Continue on to Cincinnati Ohio and BB Riverboats, the best way to see the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky riverfront on an authentic riverboat, sure to impress!

Depart for Columbus Ohio and arrive at the Four Points by Sheraton for our overnight accommodation. B,L

Day six

Enjoy breakfast and depart for home, taking with us an unbelievable journey you will never forget! B

Special Requests & Additional Information

SEATING PREFERENCE: If yes, please let us know your preference in the special requirements section on the booking page with the specific seat, seat location and if you would like to sit near someone. Check out our seat assignment policy page for our seating chart. If no preference is made, your seat will be assigned by Wade Tours. Check out the seating chart to the left!!

We encourage you to book early to accommodate any special needs and to assure that members of your party will be seated together. We reserve the right to assign seats when necessary.

ROOM PREFERENCE: We offer both two queen bed rooms and single king bed rooms. Please let us know your preference and we will do our best to match you to that room.

RESERVATIONS:  To be FAIR and IMPARTIAL seat assignments will be taken at the time of booking your reservation.  Deposit of $100 per person. Final payment is due 60 days prior to departure.

CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations within 60 days from departure will be subject to a $100 fee per person, plus cost for tickets, meals, hotels and other non-recoverable expenses.

TRAVEL INSURANCE: Is available and recommended due to unforeseen circumstances that can arise and if they do, we want you to be protected BEFORE and DURING your tour. Travel Insurance
