Day 1 – Sunday, September 8, 2019

Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad and Museum – Take a trip back in time as you enjoy magnificent views of Portland’s waterfront aboard antique rail cars pulled by hard-working steam and diesel locomotives.

Arrive at the Best Western Merry Manor Inn, Portland, ME (1 night stay)

Day 2 – Monday, September 9, 2019

Full Breakfast – Hotel check out.

Portland Headlight – Stop for a photo-op at the famous Portland Headlight with views of scenic Casco Bay and the Calendar Islands.

Boothbay Railway Village – Nowhere else in New England can you experience a steam train ride, historical village exhibits and an outstanding collection of over 60 antique vehicles in one museum.  The Boothbay Railway Village offers the unique environment of a rural village, beautiful gardens, and a village green surrounded by historic structures such as the 1847 Town Hall or the 1923 Spruce Point Chapel.

Boothbay Harbor Center – Take time for lunch on own in this delightful coastal village filled with shops, eateries and beautiful views of Maine’s rocky coastline.

Guided – Jewel of the Coast Tour – Discover beautiful Camden and see why it’s Maine’s Jewel of the Coast…. where the mountain meets the shore. Venture to the peak of Mount Battie for unsurpassed panoramic views, see the harbors dotted with windjammers and sailboats, majestic lighthouses and more.  Learn all about the rich maritime history of these two seaside villages.

Day 3 – Tuesday, September 10, 2019

Expanded Continental Breakfast – With hot items.

Belfast & Moosehead Lake Railroad – Take a wonderful excursion through the Maine countryside.  Cross trestles with views of beautiful Lake Winnecook, marshlands, rivers, streams and forest.

Bar Harbor – This waterfront downtown is filled with shops, eateries, galleries and museums.  Take time to explore and enjoy lunch on your own.

Guided – Acadia National Park Tour – You’ll be amazed by the natural wonders of this Maine Treasure.  You will travel to the Peak of Cadillac Mountain for breath-taking views of the mountains and the Atlantic.  Venture to Otter Point and experience the rocky cliffs jutting out into the crashing surf.  Witness the wonder of Sieur De Mont Springs and the power of the surf at Thunder Hole.

Do you have a seating preference for the motor coach?

We offer both two queen bed rooms and single king bed rooms. Please let us know your preference and we will do our best to match you to that room.
