Day 1 Today we’ll travel as far south as North Carolina where you’ll start to feel the change in climate.
Day 2 Following breakfast continue south through The Carolina’s and Georgia, it won’t be long before arriving in Florida “The Sunshine State”! For an overnight in St. Augustine, our nation’s oldest city. (B)
Day 3 After a leisurely breakfast, enjoy a narrated trolley tour in search of the Fountain of Youth! Hear how, in the late 1880’s, oil-tycoon and millionaire Henry Flagler greeted his guests in grand style at his Ponce de Leon Hotel on Florida’s Historic Coast. Later, depart for beautiful white sugar sand beaches of Clearwater Beach, playing in the turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico for the next 7-nights. (B)

Stretching two miles north to south along the Gulf of Mexico, Clearwater Beach is just two streets wide, making it easy to explore. The streets are lined with some of the best restaurants on the Gulf, as well as souvenir, antique, and specialty shops; ice cream parlors, day spas, and plenty of opportunities for outdoor adventure – including dolphin-sighting cruises, parasailing lessons, and even miniature golf!
Sunsets at Pier 60 Daily Festival on Clearwater Beach – The nightly sunset celebration features artisans, crafters, street performers, and our world-famous Pier 60 sunsets.
The festivities continue as the sun sets over the Gulf, creating a breathtaking sight for all to enjoy. You haven’t fully experienced Clearwater Beach until you’ve celebrated a sunset at Pier 60!
Lastly, everyone loves Johns Pass Fishing Village. A quaint yet exciting waterfront location, this turn-of-the-century fishing village is perfect for the whole family. With shopping, dining, entertainment and lots of water sports, it is a must visit while here. Simply jump on the Jolley Trolley for a convenient means of transportation and perhaps jump off along the way to visit some of the shops and beaches.
The Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach can provide exclusive access to the private Belleair Country Club and coordinate all golfing arrangements. A Gulf Coast paradise and historical landmark, perched on one of the highest points of Clearwater Bay, Belleair Country Club proclaims the first golf course in Florida. The rolling courses with lush landscape, beautifully appointed lakes, ponds and creeks freely flowing are situated in the heart of Belleair, a designated Bird Sanctuary, with an ever-changing panorama. The prevalence of wild life, with the golf courses and grounds being their permanent home, are an added delight to the golfer-naturalist. The palm trees gently swaying in the Gulf breezes, with the sun sparkling on the serene waters of Clearwater Bay will enhance all the senses for a game of golf like no other.
Day 10 Today, after checking out of the Hyatt Regency Resort, we will depart for downtown Fort Myers in time for lunch (on own) at one of the many café restaurants and later a visit to explore the Edison & Ford Winter Estates on the banks of the Caloosahatchee River. These friends, a wealthy industrialist and a dedicated inventor, helped to revolutionize the world at the turn of the last century while escaping cold northern winters. Next, we will check into our hotel and refresh for a DINNER and a show tonight at the Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre, a comfortable, but luxurious ambiance for dining. (D)
Day 11 After Breakfast, we say farewell to Fort Myers and follow Florida’s beautiful Gulf Coast and head into America’s Everglades – The largest subtropical wilderness in the United States. The Gulf Coast Visitor Center of Everglades National Park is located in Everglades City, about an hour-and-a-half south of Fort Myers. From here we’ll set out on a boat tour fully narrated by national park-trained naturalists. Later enjoy lunch (on own) and some free time at Tin City Marketplace, Naples original shopping sensation. Originally a 1920’s collection of old marine workshops that have been converted into a quaint collection of shops and boutiques offering everything from postcards and tee shirts to unique artistic creations. The perfect place to find that special gift for those back home. Then we travel across the Everglades to the east coast leading to Fort Lauderdale for a 2-night stay along beautiful sunny Atlantic Coast. Cross on Route 75 — the famous “Alligator Alley” — keeping your eyes on the banks along the route, to find alligators basking in the sun. (B)
Tonight, unwind at the Embassy Suites and plunge into the outdoor pool or simply unwind in the tropical garden by the koi pond, during an evening reception. Each morning enjoy a made-to-order Breakfast.
Day 12 Cruise the Venice of America with Jungle Queen Riverboat Cruising Ft Lauderdale’s Millionaire’s Row with homes of the wealthy and famous, mega yachts and sights beyond belief. It’s an exciting cruise, making memories with our happy travelers! Enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure. (B)
Day 13 Today we bid farewell to The Sunshine State retracing our path arriving on Jekyll Island, located on one of Georgia’s most beautiful coastal barrier islands–acclaimed for its beaches, and spectacular natural beauty. Enjoy dinner at the Jekyll Island Seafood Company, then a walk along the beach or just enjoy the beauty of the ocean. (B/D)
Day 14 After Breakfast, we continue our journey north for our final night in North Carolina (B)
Day 15 The coach is abuzz filled with joy, around the abundance of the places we explored: beaches, history, attractions and the natural and cultural places that you’ll only find in Florida……! (B)
