Day One, Thursday, December 6, 2018
Arrive into Washington, D.C. and visit the NEW Museum of the Bible. Tour this amazing new state-of-the-art facility and discover one of the World’s largest private collections of biblical objects and artifacts, which conveys the global impact and compelling history of the Bible in a unique and powerful way.
Next, enjoy the service of Choral Evensong is sung today by the Cathedral Choir of Men and Girls at the Washington National Cathedral.
Check into the Gaylord National Resort for Christmas on the Potomac with sweeping views of the River. Enjoy the region’s most beautiful Christmas decorations with 1,000’s of twinkling lights and a 55-foot tall Starlight Christmas tree suspended over the indoor garden atrium, to Sights & Sounds of the Season Laser Show and Nightly Indoor Snowfall. Enjoy free time to shop Tanger Outlets or visit MGM Resort and Casino. Dinner on own at any of the many restaurants located at the National Harbor! Enjoy Unlimited visits to ICE! Ride on the Capitol Wheel and enjoy a complimentary cocktail at Pose Rooftop Lounge – with excellent views from the 18th floor! Day Two, Friday, December 7, 2018
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before we depart with GUIDE for Mount Vernon Christmas, the estate of George Washington, America’s most visited historic house, overlooking the Potomac River. Mount Vernon is both George Washington’s home and final resting-place. This Southern Plantation details the life of the “Father of Our Country” while providing fascinating insights into Colonial times.
Enjoy free time for lunch and shopping on own in Old Town Alexandria. A beautifully-preserved historic district on the Potomac River, a place George Washington called home. Old Town’s cobblestone streets and red brick sidewalks attracts everyone with some of the best restaurants and historic attractions.
Later this afternoon we regroup and visit Christ Church in Old Town Alexandria, a beautiful example of Georgian church architecture, dating from 1773. Silver plaques mark the pews of George Washington.
Continue to Washington, D.C. Arrive at the United States Botanic Garden, a living plant museum. Established by Congress in 1820, the U.S. Botanic Garden is one of the oldest botanic gardens in North America. See the Poinsettias displayed for the season.
Enjoy dinner included at Café Deluxe this evening, before our visit to the National Zoological Park. Join the thousands of visitors who make ZooLights a part of their annual holiday tradition. ZooLights includes live music performances and tasty winter treats.
Stop by the Pageant of Peace (pending date announcement) in Ellipse Park across from the White House. This is the site of nightly choral performances, a Nativity scene, a burning Yule log, the National Christmas Tree and a spectacular display of lighted Christmas trees representing each state and territory of the United States. Return to hotel for the evening.

Day Three, Saturday, December 8, 2018
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and later we will depart with our GUIDE for Washington, D.C.
Our first visit will be at the White House Visitor’s Center with over 90 artifacts from the White House collection, some shopping, and view the 14-minute film, “White House: Reflections From Within.”
Next, visit the National Portrait Gallery, we tell the diverse story of America through leaders, rebels, artists, entrepreneurs, and other prominent personalities who shaped our culture. See the exhibit: “America’s Presidents”, the nation’s only complete collection of presidential portraits outside the White House. Visit Downtown Holiday Market featuring regional artisans with hundreds of diverse gift items!
Stop at the Basilica of the National Shrine of Immaculate Conception – visit the largest Roman Catholic Church in the United States and in North America, and is one of the ten largest churches in the world.
Continue to Baltimore for Christmas Markets at Inner Harbor, a unique atmosphere with thousands of lights, delicious smells, gingerbread, bratwurst and mulled wine, put you in the perfect Christmas mood!
Next, you’ll enjoy dinner this evening at Gordon Biersch Brewery & Restaurant in downtown Baltimore.
Return to enjoy the Washington DC’s Temple Visitor’s Center’s Festival of Lights (pending availability). See a live nativity scene, listen to live musical performances and experience over 250,000 lights and tree displays from around the world. See the Holiday musical performance at the Visitor Center.

Enjoy breakfast and a leisurely morning at your hotel, enjoying the festivities and holiday cheer! Last minute shopping for those back home on your Christmas List at the National Harbor or Tanger Outlets.
