RESPONSE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC AND HOW WADE TOURS PLANS TO KEEP OUR PASSENGERS AND EMPLOYEE SAFE!
During this global crisis there has been much uncertainty. Our hearts go out to those most affected by COVID-19. We are so very thankful to everyone who has been on the front lines doing their part and for those staying home. Together we can get through this!
We are hopeful that we will begin seeing travel moving in the right direction, please be assured we are taking the following precautions seriously in order to protect you, our customers and employees. Also, as the CDC provides additional guidance on disinfecting and cleaning of public spaces, we will update our procedures with any new revisions.
- Driver education awareness training for cleanliness procedures and preventative hygiene practices (New part of our safety training courses)
- Hand sanitizer station in the front of the coach for passengers to use when boarding and exiting the coach
- Complete disinfectant cleaning of the coach prior to each new trip
- Spot cleaning of high-touched surfaces with disinfectant
- Limiting capacity to 50% occupancy (This just applies to the company tour department, does not apply to coach for hire charters) to respect social distancing and create a more relaxing environment. This will also mean that tours will sell out sooner, to book early! If any questions, please call 518-355-4500, we are here to help!

Status Update for 2020 Tours
To keep you informed, our team is actively engaged in discussions with our partners and following the orders of our government, to ensure the safety of our passengers and employees. As further details become available, our guests will be the first to be made aware.
We are hopeful that the nationwide “stay at home” order will be successful, and that we can restart a normal lifestyle, by the end of April, unless we are ordered otherwise. Our intention is to keep rolling with our 2020 schedule.
Since 1926, our guests have been an extension of our family and we believe that your experience will be the same amazing vacation as if it were our own, providing you with the best possible comfort and safety.
We truly appreciate your patience during these difficult times, and we cannot wait to see everyone traveling soon!

As a reminder to our customers, who’s tours have been interrupted by the Corona Virus – for all tours deemed suspension by order of our government and have been rescheduled, you have the flexibility to either:
- Book on the rescheduled date of your tour, without any worry of a rate increase and for those who have purchased travel protection, this will be applied as well to the rescheduled date.
- All funds, without penalty, will be held until notified that you would like to transfer payments to ANY future tours, without an expiration, and if you have purchased travel protection, this will be applied as well to your new booking.
- Guest may cancel and request refund – less $100 deposit and Non-Refundable travel protection, if purchased. Or, if cancellation is for a covered reason as described in your policy, you will be reimbursed by the insurance provider after filing a claim, less your Non-Refundable travel protection.

Wade Tours is taking a proactive approach for your health and safety, all tours for March have been postponed or rescheduled. This was not an easy decision and we understand how disappointing this is. We have not suspended any currently scheduled Charters.
We are in constant communication with our vendors and your safety remains our highest priority. We understand these are uncertain times due to the coronavirus outbreak. We at Wade Tours are confident that with all the precautions and proactive steps being put into place….we will get through this!

To our valued customers, we are aware of the circumstances regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19), and we are working diligently to keep you updated with the information we are provided by our state, and federal agencies. We assure you that we are doing everything we can to address your concerns, and follow through with recommendations to limit any risk to our customers.
You may be wondering what we are doing about the Coronavirus (COVID-19). The disease has spread to many places around the United States, and New York State and there is plenty of mixed signals coming through the media regarding it and what to do. There are a range of perspectives and we certainly are not in the medical field, but will take the advice on what to do through the guidance of the Center For Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) . For recommendations on how to reduce the risk and the spread of the disease, it’s best to consult the resources of the CDC. As part of our due diligence at addressing the cleanliness of all our coaches and being as proactive as possible, we are working with our maintenance department to update the process through which we clean our coaches. We will continue to do a thorough job at cleaning each coach when it returns off each trip. In addition, we will continue to use the best products available, and will be using disinfectant spray, and wipes in this process of cleaning the coaches daily. Each of our coaches will also continue to have hand sanitizer locating in the lavatory. Our cleaning staff is aware of the importance of doing a thorough job and doing their best at taking preventive measures in their cleaning process and products.
