Take your children and grandchildren away for a day of exploration. We’ll begin this tour at the Boston Aquarium, within its compact exhibit space, the Aquarium shows off everything from a lumbering, 500-pound sea turtle to a tapestry of colorful tropical fish. Flap your wings at the African and rock hopper penguins basking in the floodlights, and welcome the little blue penguins recently added to the renovated exhibit. The little blues, the smallest of the world's 17 penguin species, are a noisy little bunch. Then follow the spiral walkway up and around the Giant Ocean Tank. Ask about feeding times.
